New release today! "Some Such Thing"

New release today! Our song "Some Such Thing" is out on all platforms. It's a departure from our usual sound, with the same angst you've come to expect from Repo Man. Check it out on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/6jxvLYGh4aWBr8Z3mw07on

Countdown to First Single Release -- 13 Days to Go!

Repo Man "America" is the first widely-released single by Repo Man. This song is a fast, adrenaline-fueled, dark scream at the world and it's pure punk rock. The subject is as relevant now as it was when it was first performed live in 1997, especially in our current war-and-disease-ridden society. The song was recorded and produced in 2021 and 2022 and is the first studio recording. It will be available everywhere you stream or buy music online on MARCH 20 at midnight. Right now, you can pre-save it to your Spotify library by going to the Hyperfollow page here:

This is also a quick way to share our social media links with others. The repossession continues...

Electric Lounge

Here is the text in the above, in case you can't read it:

We are privileged to have played Electric twice. April 26 and June 24, 1997. On stage are Ric Furley, Brendon Bigelow, Ass Water Jones, and me, Michael Davis. My homemade t-shirt says "Fuck Censorship." Even in a horrendously bad photo, the Electric sign shines through. Good memories.

Original 1998 Repo Man EP Goes Digital

November 11, 1997. There is no such thing as iTunes. Napster is a year away from its beta release. Pandora and Spotify are nowhere to be found. Google Music is still in the distant future.  Digital music distribution as we know it today does not exist. It is a wild frontier of individuals sharing converted CD files and band websites offering downloads.

Repo Man entered the world of serious recording when Boots, AC, Repo, and The Ric Furley walked into the studio that
Austin, Texas producer Stuart Lawrence had built in the converted garage of his home. A week later they emerged with a six-song EP which was later mastered by legendary engineer Jerry Tubb. Copies were sold at gigs in Austin, Houston, and other places around Texas, anywhere Repo Man played live. The original web site offered mp3 sample files.
